The fourth trimester
Integrating Birth to Parenthood
The Postpartum period is a time of deep transformation, initiation to parenthood, and release of the old version of ourselves. I see this stage as a time for rest, energetic healing, exploration into the body + position, bond with our baby, as well as a time to connect with the greater parent community. It is time that is greatly improved by an awareness to navigate our new phase. The self discovery we cultivate in this time will impact the foundation for all of motherhood. When mama is aligned, replenished and able to adapt it is felt throughout the whole family unit.
The Fourth Trimester Series is designed in two unique phases to nurture, heal, replenish, strengthen and ground your body and mind during your postpartum stage of life, while building a supportive and loving community for you and baby to thrive.

Phase One is structured for the new mother who is newly integrating into postpartum life. Weekly discussions focus on postpartum healing, grounding energy rituals, nutrition, nursing/feeding baby, integrating into your new role, discovering your baby’s unique rhythm and sharing birth stories. We will also introduce a rehabilitative slow paced practice with exercises and breath work that help you reconnect to your pelvic floor, strengthen your back and core safely, and practice meditation. We will hold space for shares, and enjoy talks by special guests who are experts in the postpartum field. This is a lovely space to build a supportive community and find your new pace in life. Recommended for mamas between 2-8 weeks postpartum. Phase One // Mondays 10-11:30am (EST) :: 4 week series
Phase Two is for the mama that has moved beyond the basics of phase one and is ready to rediscover and rebuild a safe yoga practice and fitness routine that fits into postpartum life. (Typically 8 weeks postpartum plus.) We will continue to focus on Postpartum life exercises that include pelvic floor work, proper core integration, increasing flexibility/stability and invigorating flow sequences. Building a supportive community is one of the most powerful aspects of this series. Phase Two // Mondays 1:30pm-3pm (EST) 8 week series
